Fabrique des Savoirs: new conference on October 5
For the diffusion of scientific, technical and industrial culture in Paris-Marne Valley.
The Fabrique des Savoirs' lecture series opened on 5 September with a preview on the benefits of physical activity, organised as part of the Forum des Associations in Pontault-Combault.
Many of you took part and we thank you for that.
As part of the Fête de la Science, the Fabrique des Savoirs is organising a new conference, this time in the town of Torcy.
Living in the East of Paris
Many of us live or work in the east of Paris or in Paris - Vallée de la Marne. How do we live it? How do we talk about it? How do our interlocutors react? What does it say about us?
To reflect together on this 'particularity', we invite you to come and discuss with three researchers from the Gustave Eiffel University, Laboratoire Analyse Comparée des Pouvoirs, who have made the east of Paris their research area:
- Sandie Beaudouin, lecturer in STAPS
- Matthieu Delage, lecturer in geography
- Loïc Vadelorge, professor of contemporary history
All three propose to go back over the history and local particularities of this side of the capital: settlements, urbanisation, planning logics, social mix and use, appropriation of leisure activities around the Marne in particular...
The discussion with the participants will seek to highlight the abundant dynamism and constant evolution that has been going on for over 100 years.
